I want to create a game that gives a fun utility for CUBEs, which hopefully could increase the value of the currency quite a bit.
This ideally means enticing new players to buy CUBEs and use them to play the game.
I think one of the biggest barriers to this is the lack of an easy and intuitive fast-travel system.
You should be able to open your map and choose or search for a parcel or world and travel there instantly.
Anything less than that can start to feel like a tedious waste of time.
I understand walking around can be fun sometimes, but it isn't always fun and shouldn't be forced.
If you wanted to make people think twice about fast travelling everywhere, you could implement credits.
You could start with 100, so new players aren't burdened by the system.
If people fast-travel a lot, they'd start to run out.
Then you could have credits spawn randomly in the world, to encourage exploration.
Or allow purchasing with CUBEs I guess.
But the important part is that fast travel should always be an option, especially for new players.
